JEE 2027 JoSAA college predictor for NITs

This page explains how to use College Predictor as your JEE Main 2027 JoSAA college predictor. It helps you see, before counselling starts, which NIT branches your expected rank can reach.

Why 2026 data for 2027?

JoSAA publishes opening and closing ranks only during counselling. Until the 2027 rounds begin, the latest official numbers are those of 2026. Students and teachers routinely use the previous year's cutoffs to build a first shortlist. This site does not invent 2027 cutoffs: every number shown is from the 2026 JoSAA tables, and the pages say so.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a JEE 2027 JoSAA college predictor for NITs?

Yes. This predictor works for JoSAA 2027 planning. It uses the official JoSAA 2026 Round 1 opening and closing ranks as the base, because 2027 ranks are published only after JoSAA 2027 Round 1. We update the data when they are released.

Will JoSAA 2027 cutoffs be the same as 2026?

No. Cutoffs change every year with the number of candidates, paper difficulty, seat matrix and rules. Use the 2026 numbers to understand the level of each NIT and branch, and keep a wide choice list.

When will JoSAA 2027 cutoffs be available?

JoSAA publishes opening and closing ranks round by round during counselling, usually after JEE Main and JEE Advanced results. Check josaa.nic.in for the official schedule.

Should I use Round 1 or last round cutoffs for choice filling?

Closing ranks normally move to higher numbers in later rounds, so Round 1 looks harder than the final outcome. Keep Moderate and Dream choices on your list and put Safe choices at the end.

Which rank do I enter in the predictor?

Enter your CRL rank for OPEN seats and your category rank for EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST seats. PwD seats use your PwD rank. See How it works for details.
